For part 2 of their series, Travis Barker and DJ-AM have taken a very creative route in releasing their mixtape. The download costs one tweet. Using a custom engine (built by Culture Jam Labs), they are giving away their new mixtape as a free download once a someone has tweeted a certain message. That message and more info can be found at twitter.trvsdjam.com. This might sound like a trivial thing to some, but you’ve really got to respect the genius behind it. They are really tapping into the power of Twitter and it’s marketing potential. I know a lot of people still don’t “get what the big deal is” with Twitter, so I’ve thrown up a mediafire link.
