My favorite band name EVER, Starfucker, made a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” It sounds like they took the regular music, took out the synth, replaced it with a gently strummed electric guitar and told the singer to whisper all the words. An instant indie hit if you ask me!

A group called Mummers did a cover of Passion Pit’s “Sleepyhead” as if you haven’t heard that song enough. But seriously they did a very Wes Anderson-esque cover of the song and it’s really fun to listen to.

In this edition of covers, P.O.S. does a REALLY cool cover of Pearl Jam’s “Why Go” with a drum machine, an old Axiom 25 and his pipes. Very impressive cover, all should enjoy.

I snagged this track from the big homie Modi, but I just had to post it. A completely different take on the track from Kanye. The Fray make into a slightly more emo-y track, what with it’s lack of auto-tune and the acoustic instrumentation. But it’s still super dope. What do you guys think?
